This season, pastel fashion is all the rage. From blazers and denim to shoes and accessories, pastel style can come in many forms. But we dare you to take this angelic trend to your make-up bag.
Many celebs like Katy Perry and Kelly Osbourne can be seen rocking gorgeous pastels from head to toe. From pastel hair to lips they fearlessly take this trend to a whole new level. And although pastels might seem easy and light, too much at once can be a disaster. Here are a few tips to ensure your pastel look is bold and pretty without going overboard.
Less is More
Stick to one color for your eyeshadow. If you try using too many colors your eyelids might end up looking like a rainbow. For a chic and sophisticated look try an ombré effect on your eyelid but stick to the one color rule.

Easy on the Blush
Don't do bold cheeks. If you are going to use blush, keep it sheer and pretty. If you have a lighter complexion use a lighter, pinkish tone. Fresh, coral blush looks perfect on darker skin tones.

Clean Complexion
Keep a clean and sheer complexion. You don't want to go over the top with foundation—you want to keep this look light and feminine. Too much makeup might end up looking too 70’s retro and not romantic and feminine.

Go Gloss
Have fun with pastel lipstick. Many of the new and gorgeous pastel lip colors are matte, so try adding some gloss to give them different textures and stains.

Hair & Nails
If pastel makeup seems too dramatic, try experimenting with pastel nail colors to move you into your comfort level. If you want to go bold like never before, try adding streaks of pastel color to your hair for a cotton candy look.
